Firefighter Paramedics Ron Montecino and David Whitman reported to work early on February 23, 2009. The program officially started on March 1, 2009. A party is planned for March 6 in Pine Mountain.
The community is invited on March 6 to celebrate the first year anniversary of the hard-fought and hard-won firefighter-paramedic program in Pine Mountain.
All are invited for a joyful and informal reception in the PMC Clubhouse Condor Room at 7 p.m. There will be a band. Cake, light refreshments and beverages will be served. Chief Nick Dunn will be honored, Scott Robinson said. Menu orders will be taken by the Bistro.
