FRAZIER PARK (June 25, 2010, 5:30 p.m.)—It is no longer necessary to boil the tap water or consume bottled water in areas of Frazier Park. On June 19, 2010, Frazier Park Public Utility District system issued a boil water notice to its customers in the Mt. Pinoa Way, Pomona Trail, Fresno Trail, San Joaquin Trail, San Carlos Trail, Harriet Trail, Johnson Trail and Oak Trail service areas due to a planned water outage on June 21, 2010 to connect customers in these areas to newly installed water mains and to connect the new mains to the existing distribution system. The planned work was completed at 4 a.m. on June 22 and the distribution system was disinfected and flushed. On June 23 three (3) bateriological quality sampels were collected. All three were negative for total coliform Bacteria. Based on the follow-up actions taken by the Frazier Park PUD, it has been determined by the California Department of Public Health that the water supplied by the Frazier Park PUD system is now considered safe to drink.
