LAKE OF THE WOODS, FRAZIER PARK (October 18, 2011 at 10 a.m.)—An event reported yesterday by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office as an apparent home invasion robbery in Lake of the Woods was, in fact, an attempt by a landlord to evict a tenant, according to Sgt. Mark Brown of the Frazier Park substation. In an interview this morning, Brown explained what the investigation surfaced following arrest of the property owner and two friends. More will be reported in The Mountain Enterprise issue on the streets on Thursday.
