$200,000 paid in case of principal allegedly harming child

It has taken two years, but an event that started in the first week of school in August 2016 with a scared four-year-old boy may have finally come to a resolution. A Kern County Superior Court judge approved a negotiated settlement payment of $200,000 to the child in the case.
The documents obtained by The Mountain Enterprise confirm details of the deal, including $50,000 in attorney’s fees for the plaintiff’s lawyer, medical care and an annuity for the child. The El Tejon Unified School District will have to pay…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
