Dear Frazier Park Community,

I want to let all my dear friends and colleagues know that beginning November 13 I will be reassigned as the librarian for the Tehachapi Branch Library. I will be transferred from my position at the Frazier Park Branch. I hope that what we have accomplished here together will continue, so this beautiful library will continue to be a great success for our community.

Frazier Park remains my home and I am sure I will still see everyone around town.
Please welcome my successor, Susan Templeton, with open arms.

I will always cherish what we have built together at Frazier Park. I am looking forward to this new challenge in Tehachapi, but I will miss you all dearly. Please stay in touch.

Sincerely,
Marie A. Smith, MLIS
Branch Supervisor
Kern County Library
Frazier Park Branch

How lucky we are to have something so good that it makes saying goodbye so hard.

“626 and still counting,” was how we said good-bye to Frazier Park Branch Librarian Marie Smith during the Trunk or Treat at the Library. That is how many people had enjoyed the Haunted Library, Trunk or Treat, and the Friends of the Library (FOL) haunted house by about 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28.
