Assemblywoman Shannon Grove to hold town hall in Frazier Park

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015 at 2:45 p.m.)—Assemblywoman Shannon Grove issued this press release today regarding a town hall meeting she is organizing for the Frazier Park area on Saturday, Oct. 31.

SACRAMENTO – Assemblywoman Shannon Grove plans to hold a town hall in Frazier Park this month geared towards public safety issues. Representatives from the California Highway Patrol, the Kern County Fire Department, the Kern County Sheriff’s Department, and the Mountain Communities Coalition Against Substance Abuse will each give presentations. Grove will also give a Capitol update for constituents interested in the good, the bad, and the ugly legislation coming out of Sacramento.

“I know many of my constituents are concerned about public safety and about fire danger, especially after four years of drought,” said Assemblywoman Shannon Grove. “That’s why I am bringing together several law enforcement and fire officials to discuss issues particular to mountain communities, answer questions, and listen first hand to constituent concerns.”
Among the public safety topics to be covered are wild fire fighting and hazard reduction, crime prevention techniques, school bus safety, and drugged driving.

Town Hall details:
When: Saturday, October 31st, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Where: Frazier Park Community Center – 3801 Park Drive, Frazier Park, CA
