Wear bright orange clothes and a hat if you’re planning to go walking in the woods these days. Hunting season has begun.

Our Mountain Communities and forest are all within California’s Zone D13 for hunting deer and bear.

Archery season for bear ran from August 18 to September 9; for deer September 1 to 23.
