Board of Supervisors call Special Session to vote on last-minute resolution to expand Tejon Commerce Center Foreign Trade Zone

LEBEC, CA (Monday, Oct. 30, 2017 at 3:55 p.m.)—The Kern County Board of Supervisors has called a Special Session (after it had declared ‘no meeting’ for Halloween) to vote on a proposed resolution that would expand the Tejon Ranch Commerce Center Foreign Trade Zone site #276 and would change the site’s affiliation from Meadows Field to an affiliation with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Los Angeles/Long Beach Seaport port of entry.  The board of supervisors will consider the proposed resolution at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
