GORMAN, CA (Friday, Sept. 2, 2016 at 10:55 a.m.)—A brush fire is burning along the northbound side of Interstate 5 near Highway 138, just three miles south of Gorman. CHP reported that a power pole may have ignited the fire. Los Angeles County Engine 77, Kern County Fire Department Patrol 356 and helicopters are on scene fighting the fire.
