NEWHALL, CA (Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016 at 5:02 p.m.)—The sigalert has been extended for 30 minutes with the slow lane (#4) closed. The #3 lane has been opened.

NEWHALL, CA (Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016 at 4:10 p.m.)—A brush fire burning along northbound Interstate 5, one mile south of Calgrove has the two slow lanes (3 and 4) closed, according to CHP. A Sigalert is in effect.
