GORMAN, CA (Friday, July 3, 2015 at 2:30 p.m.)—Gurdas Singh came upon this flipped vehicle on Gorman Post Road at 1:56 p.m. Friday, July 3. Sgt. Emmons of the California Highway Patrol, Fort Tejon Station, said the accident was called in at 1:04 p.m. A gray Honda Civic with a female occupant flipped over. Fire Station 77 paramedics were called for an assessment. They determined she was not injured. “She was okay,” Emmons said. CHP was on the scene for about 90 minutes, and the vehicle has been towed, Emmons added. The name of the driver and the cause of the accident are not yet available.

Coming into the Fourth of July holiday, drivers are advised to be vigilant, drive at a safe speed, and be aware that extra patrols are out during the holiday to search for unsafe drivers, and those driving under the influence. Enjoy the 4th. Drive safely.
