AARP’s March meeting will not be a potluck. All who came to last year’s chili-hot dog fundraiser seemed to enjoy this change of routine. So we are going to try it again this year.

Our speaker will be Debra Magaña from Crazy Bout Craftin, a new crafting supplies business in Frazier Park.

We invite anyone to come and enjoy a bowl of chili and a hot dog for lunch to see just what our AARP chapter is all about. We will sell chili and a hot dog for $5 each. Pastry will be 50 cents each.

Maybe you’ll decide to join us. Dues are only $5 for the year. We have a good time at our once-a-month meetings, visiting with our friends and enjoying our speakers. We even go on trips every so often. We’re going to the Fillmore train ride on March 15.

Come and enjoy this fundraiser with us. Please remember to bring small bills for purchase of the chili and hot dog as well as raffle tickets. And please bring your own table setup (plates and silver).
