Curves food drive in full swing

The Frazier Park Curves food drive continues through March 31.

“This year, donations will benefit the Family Resource Center food bank,” said Bonnilee Jones, owner of Curves of Frazier Park.

This effort is part of the nationwide drive inviting residents to bring a bag of non-perishable food or a monetary contribution of at least $30 to be donated to local food banks.

A statement from the national office of Curves said that new members who make the donation will have their service fee for a 12-month membership waived when joining Curves this month.

This is the national Curves’ 16th annual food drive, they said, adding that members have “gathered and donated more than 75 million pounds of food to benefit local community food banks.”
