Attorney Ernest A. Conant with Young Wooldridge, LLP knows his way around a corporate board room when it comes to strategizing about water resources in Kern County and the State of California. He serves the interests of Tejon Ranch Company, Tejon Ranchcorp and the Tejon-Castac Water District (TCWD).

TCWD was formed as a public water district, but has operated for over 50 years as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Tejon Ranch Company. It is likely that under two dozen humans make their homes on Tejon Ranch land today.
