This year’s Fiesta Days Honorary Mayors are John and DiAnn Dever. Both have been deeply involved in the community for decades.

In 1976 John and DiAnn fought the El Tejon Unified School District to gain the right for parents to be able to send their children to Gorman School. In 1982, the Devers began the long struggle to see a high school built for our community.

Frazier Mountain High School was built the year after their youngest child had graduated. Both are dedicated members of VFW Post 9791.
