FRAZIER PARK, Calif. (Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, 4:30 p.m.)—An SUV crashed at Pine Canyon Drive and Park Drive at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9—narrowly missing the Boys & Girls Club in Frazier Park.

A woman and her young daughter were on board; thankfully there were no injuries. It could have been much worse. It appeared to onlookers that the driver came down Pine Canyon (north) way too fast for the icy conditions and a van turned south, up Pine Canyon from Park Drive. Had the SUV driver not swerved, there would have been a head-on crash.

The SUV narrowly avoided the van and just missed the Boys & Girls Club. I don’t know if she was cited by CHP,  but we all need to remember to slow down when the snow starts to fall.
