It was a carnival put on by the graduating 8th grade class, but also a chili cook-off, district art show and open house of the classrooms at El Tejon Middle School May 21. Teachers met with parents and students for informal conferences. Kids of all ages enjoyed the fun. They lined up for blue and purple cotton candy and homemade cookies.
