When Louis and Margaret “Marge” Arroyo of Pine Mountain went on their tropical vacation to Rincon, Puerto Rico—”The Isle of Enchanted Sunsets”—they packed an issue of The Mountain Enterprise in their suitcase, with a front page photo of one of our mountain’s springtime snowstorms.
The Arroyos write that they purchased property in Pine Mountain way back in 1971, and started to build their home there in 1978.
“We were in Puerto Rico for three weeks vacationing and visiting family. We were fortunate that they live only half a block from the beach, so we enjoyed many sunsets and walks on the beach. A good time was had by all.”
