The change came about when the California Interscholastic Federation Central Section invoked a sanction against High Desert League (HDL) teams. The sanction was applied when High Desert League moved from the Southern to the Central California Section. Part of the agreement. Lembur said, “is a three year ban on home games for playoffs” [for HDL teams]. Earlier, she said she thought the ban had been rescinded. That turns out not to be the case.
