Fantasy of Lights Parade

Come one, come all to the Frazier Mountain Fantasy of Lights “Cartoon Christmas” Holiday Faire on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. in Frazier Park.

You’ll find a sparkling array of holiday gift vendors. Mt. Pinos Way will be transformed into a pedestrian promenade between Monterey Trail and San Carlos Trail.

The popular treasure hunt will be back for the children.

Celebrity ‘photo ops’ with the Grinch and reindeer will be available. You can take the wee ones for photos with Santa himself at Alpine Lumber and Mercantile. Professional photographer Lori Murphy will be there from 1-4 p.m.

At dusk, the Holiday Faire will culminate with the best Fantasy of Lights Parade ever. All the floats will feature beautiful holiday lights. The parade route will extend all the way to Coffee Cantina.

There is still time to enter a float (call Barbara Murray at 245-1124) or to reserve a vendor booth (call 245-1212).

The Mountain Communities Chamber of Commerce proudly announces that the Grand Marshal will be Captain Christopher Stroub, of Kern County Fire Department Station 56 of Lebec.

This is part of the November 26, 2010 online edition of The Mountain Enterprise.
