  • Amusement park rides for the little ones are always part of the fun, plus some carnie booths for your amusement. You'll find vendors for arts and crafts, and info booths of many community organizations staffed by your neighbors, eager to tell you about their activities in the Mountain Communities—a perfect way to get to know more about the many offerings of the place you live.

‘Country Days, Sapphire Nights’ is the theme for the 45th Annual Fiesta Days celebration in Frazier Mountain Park this weekend, August 3, 4, 5. Three days of community fun include a parade, contests, music, amusement park rides, VFW pancakes, more music, the TeenBeat Talent Show, Battle of the Bands food, friends and family reunions to make this an old-fashioned neighborhood party for the entire Mountain Community.

The nonprofit Mountain Memories Association started Fiesta Days 45 years ago to raise funds to bring emergency medical services to this rural area. Today they continue in that traditions, raising money to help fund community health and safety initiatives.  Admission is free. Get the full official schedule of contests and events in The New Mountain Pioneer.
