Fight brews as Los Padres Forest privatizes campgrounds

If you enjoy sleeping under the stars at local area campgrounds, you may be noticing some changes soon.

On October 5 the Los Padres National Forest (LPNF) announced that Parks Management Company will be given a contract to manage a long list of LPNF campsites. This is the same private, for-profit company that runs Pyramid Lake.
