Santa Ana conditions—high temperatures and high winds—had firefighters worried in both Northern and Southern California long before flames rampaged through wine country in Napa and Sonoma Counties. Now 23 are dead; hundreds missing; over 3,500 homes and businesses destroyed. In Orange County, Canyon fire 2 is expected to be contained this week. Get your family’s emergency planning started.
