Come Help Save High School Sports. The Frazier Mountain High School Booster Club invites you to an important meeting Tuesday, May 31 at 6:30 p.m. at Caveman Cavey’s in Frazier Park.

We want everyone who cares about high school sports, the FMHS Falcon Cheer Team and the FMHS Drumline to join the Boosters. Come help select a new Booster Board. Join the fundraising nonprofit that will make next year’s high school sports program possible.

A mountainwide car wash will be held on Saturday, June 4. There will be three locations, Pine Mountain Village, The Mountain Enterprise parking lot in Frazier Park and the Holiday Inn Express in Lebec. Tickets will be sold in advance. Student athlete Antonio Saenz is organizing this event in collaboration with the Booster Club.

The Booster Club is an independent nonprofit 501c3 organization which is controlled by a community board and not the school district. Donations to the Booster Club are tax deductible (contact your accountant for details).

We hope to see you Tuesday, to launch a successful new year of high school sports.

The Booster Line is a column The FMHS Booster Club will write and publish in The Mountain Enterprise to keep the community updated about progress toward raising the funds necessary to continue high school league sports for 2011-2012.

This is part of the May 27, 2011 online edition of The Mountain Enterprise.
