Four Students Arrested in $10,800 Theft of Video Gear

Four Frazier Mountain High School students were arrested for grand theft of
school video equipment last week, according to a report issued Friday, March 14
by Kern County Sheriff’s deputies. The thefts occurred during the last week of
February.

With the assistance of FMHS staff, deputies report, two video projectors
worth more than $10,800 were recovered and four male juveniles (15-17 years of
age) identified. Three were from Lebec and the other from Frazier Park. Two of
the 17 year-olds were arrested for grand theft, another 17 year-old and the
15-year-old were arrested for petty theft and being accessories to a crime.
