Frazier Park School Principal Resigns

UPDATE • FRAZIER PARK, CA ( Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015 at 1 p.m.)—A family member confirmed today that the St. Jeor family has moved to a Northern California school district in the bay area. “We love the community of Frazier Park, and would have liked to stay there,” Mrs. St. Jeor said today. Frazier Park School site administrator Keri St. Jeor received an attractive offer from another district in the bay area that had advantages for their family.

Their son, Jeremiah St. Jeor graduated from Frazier Mountain High School this year. He won a Shelly Mason Scholarship for Academic Excellence from Scott and Barbara Rosen for having a grade point average that was among the top ten in his class.

FRAZIER PARK, CA ( Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015 at 5 p.m.)—Principal Keri St. Jeor, site administrator for Frazier Park School, has submitted his resignation to the El Tejon Unified School District Board of Trustees. The board’s August 13 public meeting agenda includes an item for accepting the resignation of the principal and another for arranging for the services an interim principal from the Kern County Superintendent of Schools Office for $381.22 per day.

In executive session, the board will also be acting on the hiring of a new English teacher for Frazier Mountain High School, a Cafeteria Worker II and a Special Education Aide.
