Frazier Park School is serving up summer adventures, open to all the children on the mountain. The Boys & Girls Club summer program is being held there, along with Frazier Mountain Focus Central’s Art Camp, free lunches for all kids (toddlers to age 18), and even a two-week NASA Summer Science Camp. But you must sign up for Science Camp by Friday, July 13.

NASA camp is July 16-19 (for grades 3-9) and July 23-26 (grades 3-6 only). It runs from 12:30- 4 p.m. All students of the Mountain Communities, including Gorman and homeschoolers are invited to learn about science, from robots to the solar system. There is no cost. Yes, it is free.

“I cannot compliment Gretchen Skrotski enough,” wrote parent Michi Knight. “Not only did she get this summer lunch program going with a grant, she obtained another grant to conduct a free two-week NASA ‘space camp’ for kids in grades 3-9 this month. My son is going to attend. She really is a gift to our community, and an inspiration!”

Students must have their own transportation to and from camp.

Remember to sign up for Science Camp by Friday, July 13. The office will be open Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9 am. to 3 p.m.
