Shareholders of Lake of the Woods Mutual Water Company voted over 6 to 1 in favor of annexing with Frazier Park Public Utility District last week. The vote was confirmed as definitive on February 4 when the board announced 110 ‘Yes’ votes and 16 ‘No’ votes, which translates to 10,050 shares in favor and 1,500 shares opposed to joining in a regional water project.
The board sent a formal acknowledgement to FPPUD, saying “Lake of the Woods would like to inform you that…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
