• On Tuesday, Jan. 14 Falcon varsity basketball plays its first league game; the two girl varsity players join with the varsity boys against rival Kern Valley at 6 p.m.; JV girls at 3 p.m.; JV boys at 4:30 p.m. in the FMHS gym.

• On January 17, 21 and 28 girls soccer meets Desert, Bishop and Cal City. Girls soccer is at 3 p.m.; boys at 5 p.m. Come support your Falcons. Bring your blankets and enjoy free admission to soccer games.
