LAKE OF THE WOODS, CA (Saturday, Jan. 20 at 8 a.m.)—Keep in mind that the 101 is closed due to damage from mudslide, so rerouting traffic through the mountains and into the I-5 is causing unusual traffic from time to time.

LAKE OF THE WOODS, CA (Friday, Jan. 19 at 5:25 p.m.)—Jill Neptune, reporter for The Mountain Enterprise, spoke at about 5:20 p.m. with a man who was driving east through Lake of the Woods and was among hundreds of drivers taking the same route. The man said an accident on Highway 166, west of Pine Mountain Club, has caused many vehicles to be diverted through PMC and Lake of the Woods to get back to Interstate 5.
