Dad Scott Rosen’s pride beamed so brightly when daughter Valerie Rosen was named Young Lady of the Year at the Frazier Mountain High School Class of 2009 awards banquet Monday, June 8, that it raised the illumination level of the entire building.

Valerie writes of her college plans, “Next year, I am going to be attending Stanford University to major in Political Science, and maybe minor in Economics.”

Nick Onyshko was named Young Man of the Year.

Watch next week for the graduation reports and all the Academy and Senior Awards.
