The Summer Reading Challenge is for all ages. Incentives for completing 10 books (for children and teens) are Legoland coupons, Auntie Anne’s Pretzel coupons, Condor tickets and a free book!

I am encouraging children to take their book log to school in the fall to show their teachers all the books they read—a partnership with our schools that I hope will increase summer readers and improve literacy. Adults are signing up just for fun—I signed myself up as well, because reading 10 books over the summer months has been a great challenge for me, too!
