KCFD invites vendors to lot clearing workshop

By Anne Duhm, TME staff

Our very weak winter is coming to a close and spring is on our doorstep. The June 15 deadline for Kern County Fire Department’s hazard reduction will be here before we know it. To prepare the community, KCFD will give a class at the Frazier Park Library, 9 a.m. this Friday, March 27.

Business owners who provide lot clearance services in our community are advised to attend. Your name will be included on a list of informed providers to give to residents.

If you are interested in being named as a Hazard Reduction Service Provider, you could learn valuable information at this meeting. If you have additional questions, contact the Kern County Fire Reduction officer at 661.391.7136 or your local fire station.

This is part of the March 27, 2015 online edition of The Mountain Enterprise.
