GORMAN, CA (Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 7:04 p.m.)—All lanes opened at 7:03 p.m. Los Angeles County Fire Department Captain Renz told The Mountain Enterprise there were six critically injured patients taken by three separate helicopters to hospitals. Two helicopters were LA County and one was L.A. City.

GORMAN, CA (Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 6:47 p.m.)—The remaining lane (#4, slow lane) is expected to open shortly. Other three lanes are open.

GORMAN, CA (Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 6:19 p.m.)—A medevac helicopter has taken the injured persons for treatment. The number 1 and 2 (faster) lanes have been reopened. One black SUV and one small silver-colored SUV were involved.

GORMAN, CA (Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 5:55 p.m.)—Two vehicles that collided on the southbound Interstate 5 at around 5 p.m. have caused major injuries and snarled traffic back into Lebec. All soundbound lanes are blocked while a Los Angeles County Fire Lifeflight helicopter has landed. The helicopter will depart soon with the injured. Lanes are expected to open shortly.
