Colorful flags waved, vibrant green leaves danced in the breeze and the sun shone brightly as a youthful LELA color guard marched with hopeful idealism into the Cody Prosser Veterans Memorial last Monday.

The community gathered for the 2018 VFW Memorial Day ceremony in Frazier Mountain Park couldn’t help but notice the beauty of the day as Pastor Rick Rivette spoke about being there “to honor those who left the beauty and comfort of home, left the love of…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
