Memorial Services Set for Kristy Ann Newkirk, Saturday, Nov. 5

April 5, 1959 – September 27, 2011 (See memorial service date change)

Kristy Ann Newkirk of Frazier Park passed away from cancer on the night of Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 at the age of 52. Memorial Services are planned for Saturday, Nov. 5, 11 a.m.at The Vineyard Church in Frazier Park (729 Pomona Trail).

Kristy was born in Buffalo, New York on April 5, 1959 to Mary Adornetto and Richard Newkirk Sr. She and her family relocated to Southern California when she was a child.

Kristy moved from North Hollywood to the Mountain Communities in 1988. She loved nature and wildlife and she liked that aspect of living in Frazier Park.

Kristy always loved to spend time with family and friends. She enjoyed the simple things in life most. She had so much willpower and was one of the most open-minded, compassionate people you could ever meet.

Words cannot express what Kristy meant to so many people or how many lives she has touched. She will always live on in our hearts and memories.

Kristy is survived by her three daughters Aimee Stringer, Amber Stringer and Jill Slusher; her two sisters Janet Janet Newkirk and Bonnie Rhoades; her fience Robert Nickel; her brother Richard Newkirk; nephews Jacob Newkirk and Jed Rhoades; and her nieces Kristin Sleek and Karrissa Rittenburg. Kristy is preceded in death by her mother and father Mary Adornetto and Richard Newkirk Sr., also by her sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Mark Rittenberg and her nephew Mikah Newkirk- Hughes.

Anyone who would like to attend the service in the remembrance of Kristy Newkirk is welcome.

Thank you to everyone who has given their support.
