Monterey Trail reopened to vehicles

UPDATE: FRAZIER PARK, CA (Monday, June 22, 2015 at 12:03 p.m.)—The roadwork was completed today prior to 12 noon and Monterey Trail was open to traffic.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Monday, June 22, 2015 at 8:49 a.m.)—Monterey Trail in Frazier Park between Frazier Mountain Park Road and Mt. Pinos Way will be closed until about noon, according to Kern County Roads job foreman Brandon Carroll. The crew is sealing cracks and will cover the roadway with an oil/sand mixture to maintain the integrity of the roadway. Motorist approaching Frazier Park from the west should take the Mt. Pinos Way left turnoff from Frazier Mountain Park Road to access the business district of Frazier Park. From the east, take the Mt. Pinos Way entrance to the right, at the “Welcome to Frazier Park” sign.
