Guests: Charles ‘Buck’ Weber and Ann Morgan are attending to inform members about the school
Workability Program. This program places students in jobs with local businesses. Student’s pay and
workers compensation insurance are covered for the business.
Old Business:
* Update on website development: work is continuing.
* Update on Streetscape donations: no donations received
* Update on membership goals: currently at 63 members, goal is 160. At least we’re making progress!
New Business:
* Need a volunteer team to update the Lebec ‘Welcome’ sign on an ongoing basis. Complaints are
coming in about the sign not being updated since early December.
* The sign on the Rider Road Service property is broken. As of 1/17, Gordon Construction is involved
and will help fix it. Thank you!
* Review past due members – those over 90 days past due are no longer members unless the board
agrees there is reason to extend membership.
* Discuss collaboration with Wine in the Pines. Chamber has been invited to work with the event
organizers – Rachel can take the lead on this. This is a great opportunity to partner with a very
successful event. Board vote.
