MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES TOWN COUNCIL
MEETING MINUTES
Date: October 16, 2008

ATTENDING: Linda MacKay, Sue Nicoll, A. Francis McRedmond,
Ana Soares.

ABSENT: Eric Anderson, Richard Hoegh.

CALL TO ORDER: 6:25 p.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Motion carried.

GUESTS: Wayne Henderson.

NEW BUSINESS:
• Incoming mail reviewed and held for Eric.
• Motion to appoint Wayne Henderson to the MCTC by Linda, 2nd Ana, carried.
• Response letter received from San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, Seyed Sadredin, stating that Tejon Ranch’s air monitoring station will be donated to the air district and will be operated by SJVAPCD in future.
• Posting minutes: our minutes are now posted at the Frazier Park Post Office and at the library. Need to find out from Eric if he has spoken to Rick at the Frazier Park Market about posting them there (tabled to November meeting). Sue will email future minutes and agendas to The Mountain Enterprise.
• MCMAC. Motion was made for a letter from MCTC to Ray Watson in support of MCMAC. Motion carried. Ana will write the letter for email review by council members.
• Candidates forum for FPPUD and ETUSD School Board follows at 7 p.m.

ADJOURNMENT: 6:55 p.m., Linda moved, Ana 2nd, motion carried.
