Your Invitation: Tejon Ranch Destination Dinner

You are invited to a unique and delicious dinner party being held on September 19. It will offer food for the body, mind and imagination.

This is an opportunity to visit and dine in what was once the rose garden of Tejon Ranch founder Edward Beale and his family, at the original headquarters of Tejon Ranch’s historic ranching operation.

The ranch-style dinner will be held at the picnic grounds of what has been known as the “Old Headquarters” since Tejon Ranch’s “new headquarters” were built in the 1950s across the freeway from… (Call the Ridge Route Communities Museum to make your reservation and for directions (661.245.7747).)

This stone was placed by General Beale at the old headquarters “of the Tejon, to mark the grave of his faithful friend Francisco de Acuna” October 17, 1886. The carving says “He was for more than 30 years the major domo,” of the ranchos making up “the Tejon.”
