MyC3 changes communities, one young leader at a time

The Color the Mountain 5K Fun Run began last year and is coming up again this fall. It will be held September 20 in lovely Frazier Mountain Park. The goal—and motto—is “Raising Funds to Raise Leaders.” The fun run does just that, as each step is taken and each handful of color is thrown. The early registration deadline for this year is July 31.

All proceeds from the 2014 event will benefit a youth mentoring and leadership camp next year, just as funds raised at last year’s Color the Mountain helped pay for 25 youth leaders to attend the MyC3 (Mountain Youth Can Change Communities) Youth Leadership Conference at the end of June. This opportunity coaches young people to grow into leaders for our schools and our communities.
