Outlets at Tejon to open with VIP charity benefit August 6 and public grand opening August 7

Outlets at Tejon will kick off its grand opening weekend with a sold-out VIP charity event on August 6 to benefit the American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Club of Kern County, Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita, CASA, Junior League, Links For Life and The Painted Turtle.

The public grand opening gets underway August 7 with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. and goes through August 10 with live music, radio appearances, family activities such as face painting and magic tricks, prizes and mini consultations with celebrity stylists.

In-store specials will be offered by many of the outlet stores, including Carter’s Kids & Babies, OshKosh B’gosh, Chico’s Outlet and H&M.

Outlets at Tejon has signed 70 name brand stores to its roster and is expected to generate 1,500 jobs for the area.

The center, located at the Laval Road East exit on I-5, contains 320,000 square feet of retail space and covers 43 acres of land. A lavish food court is part of the layout. —TME staff
