UPDATE—Pine Mountain Post Office closure

UPDATE: PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 11:02 a.m.)—The Pine Mountain Post Office and the U.S. Postal Service have arranged to temporarily keep the prior contract in effect until the emergency contract can be established. Regular hours of business and counter service are now being maintained.

UPDATE: PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 11:59 a.m.)—U.S. Postal Service spokesman Richard Maher has notified The Mountain Enterprise that postal employees will be sent today to the Pine Mountain Post Office to distribute today’s mail into the post boxes so that box holders will not have to travel to Frazier Park to pick up their mail. PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA (Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 8:58 a.m.)—Pine Mountain Post Office has closed until further notice. Boxholders were instructed to pick up their Wednesday mail deliveries at the Frazier Park Post Office after 12 noon on Wednesday. Mail that was delivered prior to Wednesday is available in the Pine Mountain boxes. See The Mountain Enterprise on Thursday morning (tomorrow) for further information.
