FRAZIER PARK, CA (Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017 at 7:36 a.m.)—Southern California Edison’s contractor, Hotline, Inc., has gone overtime with its replacement of a power pole at the northwest corner of Mt. Pinos Way and Canada Trail this morning. The job supervisor, who gave his name as “Seth,” said his crew should have the road open again by 8:25 a.m. this morning. Currently, Mt. Pinos Way is closed between Monterey Trail and San Gabriel Trail.

Signs had been posted along Mt. Pinos Way during the week, alerting motorists that the road would be closed from Tuesday night at 7 p.m. to Wednesday morning at 5 a.m.

Alternate routes to reach the east side of the downtown area include taking Frazier Mountain Park Road east from Monterey Trail and turning left at Mt. Pinos Way; or taking Los Padres Drive east down to Mt. Pinos Way at The Mountain Enterprise office near Ace Hardware.
