Ericka Steere was defending and Matthew Kjenaas was running behind a player who was over 6 feet tall at the third game of the Sectional AYSO playoffs Saturday, Feb. 24. The U-14 co-ed team has some younger players, "playing up" said Coach Peter Kjenaas, adding that “We’ve had practice in everything but losing.”

The “winningest” AYSO team ever from the mountain, Quicksilver did not prevail in the AYSO Sectionals, but they are still the AYSO Area and Regional champs.

Most the same players will be competing as the Black Ice Select team this month. Poindexter and Co., CPA of Ventura sponsored Quicksilver.

The Mountain Enteprise thankd Cliff Coleman of Interstate Towing for traveling down to Bakersfield to photograph the Quicksilver team.
