Road and snow conditions—Wednesday, Jan. 20

FRAZIER PARK/MT. PINOS, CA (Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016 at 8:01 a.m.)—Icy roads along Mil Potrero Highway and through Cuddy Valley this morning have vehicles slipping and sliding. Slow down and ‘arrive alive.’

FRAZIER PARK/MT. PINOS, CA (Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 at 9:45 a.m.)—Mt. Pinos Road is open to the top of the mountain this morning. Nordic Base reports there is 12″ to 18″ of snow around the parking lot there. All visitors are urged to obey traffic laws and respect private property. Law enforcement officers are in the area and will be issuing citations where violations occur. Interstate 5 (The Grapevine) is open. Mil Potrero Highway in and out of Pine Mountain Club is open and free of ice this morning.
