UPDATE • FRAZIER PARK, CA (Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015 at 4:18 p.m.)—Los Padres Drive will be completely open again by 5:30 p.m., Frazier Park Public Utility District General Manager Jonnie Allison said. The crew is finishing up right now after fixing a leak.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.)—A water leak at the corner of Los Padres Drive and Escalon Trail has been detected and one block, between Laguna and Glendale, is closed by the water company. Residents in that block are being allowed to enter and exit, but others are asked to take a one block detour.

“We’ve located the leak and in this drought, we feel it needs to be fixed right away,” said Jonnie Allison, Frazier Park Public Utility District general manager. He said the crew is staged in the street but still waiting for the gas company to respond so that FPPUD can dig in to find the pipe.

We will post here when an ETA for opening the street again has been set.
