Local celebrity Don Eubank of Cuddy Valley wandered into the newspaper office on Friday, July 16 to learn that the Visible Scars film crew was shooting their movie across the street at Bob’s Locksmith. Next thing you know, Eubank became Sheriff Don…in the movie! He came running back to the newspaper office to change into his sheriff’s uniform, then ran out to the movie set. About 15 other mountain residents were on the set as extras for the film, which is described by Director Richard Turke as “a psychological thriller” scheduled for a Christmas release in theaters.

This is part of the July 23, 2010 online edition of The Mountain Enterprise.
