Supervisors Vote for $2.3 Million Payout to L’Oreal—Tejon’s Newest Tenant

Lebec, CA (Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018 at 3:30 p.m.) —The Kern County Board of Supervisors just gave Tejon RanchCorp’s newest tenant, L’Oreal USA Inc., a $2.3 million “welcome to the neighborhood” housewarming gift. The gift appears to have been facilitated by Tejon Ranch as a sweetener in obtaining the cosmetic company as a new Commerce Center tenant.

The $2.3 million incentive package by the county was described as its effort to “attract new businesses and grow existing businesses,” their spokesperson said.
