Layoffs, stock drop balanced by ticking clock on Centennial

The long-awaited release of a draft environmental impact report (DEIR) for Tejon Ranch Company’s Centennial project took the spotlight off of 11 recent layoffs of management and support staff at Tejon Ranch Company of Lebec last week.

The clock is ticking on the 60-day public review period for the DEIR. July 17 is the deadline for written comments. A public hearing will be held June 29, 6–9 p.m. at Gorman Elementary School.
